Ramakrishna Mission Calcutta Students’ Home started Amphan cyclone relief services to aid families affected by the Cyclone Amphan which unleashed havoc on 20 May 2020.
29 and 30 May 2020: The centre served 886 plates of cooked food among 219 families in North 24 Parganas district; distributed 3000 kg Chira, 600 kg pulse, 300 lit oil, 600 kg of sugar, 600 packets biscuit (400 gms.), 300 kg Grams, 150 kg Soyabean, 600 kg Salt among 600 families (total 2360 persons) in North 24 Parganas district; distributed 1200 bars of soap among 600 families in North 24 Parganas district from 29th May to 30th May.
