125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s visit to Sri Lanka: Colombo

In commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the Ramakrishna Mission and Swamiji’s visit to Sri Lanka, Ramakrishna Mission, Colombo released a 30-minute short movie on Ramakrishna Mission in Sri Lanka in English (dubbed) and Tamil.

Shri Gopal Baglay, the Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, participated in this event as Chief Guest along with the other office bearers to release this movie in our Colombo Ashrama. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Jaffna also took part as a special guest in this commemorative function. Subsequently, giving prominence to the Tamil version, the movie was also released in Batticaloa Ashrama. Secretary to the Chief Minister of Eastern Province Mrs Kalamathy Pathmarajah released the same.
