On 23rd October 2023 night a fire incident took place at Suprakandi village, a few kilometres away from Karimganj town. 3 houses were totally burnt into ashes. The following relief materials were delivered by Ramakrishna Mission, Karimganj, to the families of fire victims:
Rice 25 kg, Dal 3 kg, Potato 8 kg, Blanket 4 pcs, Mosquito net 4 pcs, Bed sheet 4 pcs, Pillows 4 pcs, Sarees 4 pcs, Gas Stove 3 units, kitchen utensils and garments.
